At RMIT University, teaching and learning aim to provide students with an authentic experience reproducing the activities and functions they may perform in a real working environment. Global Business major aims to equips students the expertise to interpret, analyse and make decisions on diverse and dynamic regional, international and global challenges using qualitative and empirical data.
We combined very well-known and popular global business-related databases in this website. Such databases are also being used by major companies across the globe to make strategical decisions.
Lecturers will prove cases in class requiring students to use real-time data from online sources.
The pedagogical value offered is experiential learning which delivers experiences to students that authentically imitate the global business environment. Therefore, students can experience opportunities to develop complex international trade plans and manipulate variables to see changing results in response to their reflection and consideration of the steps to complete an international transaction.
